I was introduced to holistic healthcare when I was a teenager. I experienced chronic headaches, anxiety, and a mild form of Tourette’s syndrome. Initially, I turned to conventional pharmaceutical medicine. To manage my symptoms, I was put on successively more powerful drugs. The side effects became so difficult to deal with that I chose to stop taking them all together.
When I received my first acupuncture treatment, my body responded so well that I found for the first time my health start to improve. I began to understand that our bodies have very strong natural healing capabilities, if given the right support.
Acupuncture soon became my profession and I continued to see the great value of it. Being in the field of acupuncture, I began utilizing Chinese herbs and learned the importance of natural remedies, especially ones which are not synthetic and in whole food form (meaning the whole plant is used and not just isolated parts of it). I was then introduced to a therapy called Nutrition Response Testing. I was fascinated by how well it assessed the body’s nutritional needs. I found a trained Nutrition Response Testing practitioner and was helped with a digestive issue I was dealing with. Taking an introductory Nutrition Response Testing
class allowed me to meet others who reported great results using this approach to address such complaints as autoimmune disorders, thyroid conditions, insomnia, and many other ailments.
When I learned how beneficial Nutrition Response Testing is in improving health, I felt inspired to continue studying it so I could help more people trying to overcome health challenges. I’m so happy and blessed to be able to offer safe, natural, and effective therapies, such as acupuncture and Nutrition Response Testing, to improve the lives of those around me.
